1. Click on "Get Started" or "Sign Up" in the top navigation.
2. Select "Artist" as your account type.
3. Fill in your stage name, real name, genre, and location.
4. Upload a profile photo and cover image.
5. Write your bio and add your contact information.
6. Add your top songs and links to YouTube/Spotify.
7. Submit for review. Your profile will be approved within 24-48 hours.

Once approved, you can start listing your upcoming events and connect with fans and venues.

Yes! Basic event listings are completely free for artists. You can list unlimited upcoming shows at no cost. Each event can include:

• Event title and description
• Venue name and location
• Date and time
• Entry fee or ticket price
• Special guests (if any)

We also offer premium featured placements for events that want extra visibility, but the free option works great for most artists.

Featured spots are determined by a combination of factors:

• Profile views and engagement: Artists with higher views and fan interactions.
• Upcoming events: Artists with active, upcoming shows get priority.
• Completeness of profile: Profiles with bio, photos, songs, and contact info rank higher.
• Featured partnerships: We offer featured packages for artists who want guaranteed visibility.

To improve your chances, keep your profile updated, add new songs regularly, and list all your upcoming events. You can also contact us about featured partnership opportunities.

Yes! You can add your songs to your profile. For each song, you can include:

• Song title
• Year of release
• Play count (you can enter approximate numbers)
• YouTube link (for music videos)
• Spotify link
• Mark as "Top Hit" to highlight your most popular songs

Note: BengaMusic is primarily a discovery and event platform, so we link to streaming services rather than hosting audio files directly. This helps drive traffic to your streaming profiles.

Clubs and event organizers regularly browse BengaMusic to discover talent. To increase your chances of being booked:

• Complete your profile: Add a professional bio, high-quality photos, and your best songs.
• List your contact information: Make sure your phone and email are visible (you can control privacy settings).
• Show your experience: Add past shows, venues you've played, and any notable achievements.
• Be responsive: When clubs reach out, respond promptly.
• Get reviews: Encourage fans and venues to leave reviews on your profile.

Registering your club is free and takes just a few minutes:

1. Click "Get Started" and select "Club/Venue" as your account type.
2. Enter your club name, location, and contact details.
3. Add your amenities (WiFi, parking, food, security, etc.).
4. Upload photos of your venue (cover image and interior/exterior shots).
5. Set your opening hours and capacity.
6. Submit for verification. We'll verify and activate your listing within 24-48 hours.

Once your club profile is active, you can list events through your dashboard:

1. Log in and go to your club dashboard.
2. Click "Add New Event."
3. Select the artist(s) performing (if they're already on BengaMusic, you can link their profiles).
4. Set event date, time, and entry fee.
5. Add event description and any special details.
6. Publish immediately or save as draft.

Events will appear on your club profile, in the main events calendar, and on the artists' profiles if you've linked them.

Absolutely! BengaMusic is a great place to discover talent. You can:

• Browse the Artists section and filter by genre, location, or popularity.
• View artist profiles to see their bio, songs, and past shows.
• See which artists have upcoming events and are actively performing.
• Contact artists directly through their profile contact information.
• Save favorite artists for future bookings.

We're working on a booking system that will allow you to send booking requests directly through the platform!

Producers can use BengaMusic to:

• Showcase your work: Display your production credits, studio, and genre specialties.
• Connect with artists: Get discovered by artists looking for producers.
• List your services: Beat making, recording, mixing, mastering, etc.
• Build your brand: Share your studio name, location, and years of experience.
• Network with the industry: Connect with other producers, artists, and industry professionals.

Producer profiles are currently free. We're developing additional features for producers, including portfolio uploads and direct client inquiries.

BengaMusic welcomes all content creators in the music and entertainment space, including:

• Bloggers - Music bloggers, culture writers, event reviewers

• Photographers - Event and music photographers

Creators can connect with artists in several ways:

• Direct outreach: Contact artists through their profile contact information.
• Get discovered: Artists looking for content creators can browse creator profiles.
• Event coverage: Reach out to clubs and venues for media access to cover events.
• Reviews and features: Write reviews or create content about artists and get featured on their profiles.
• Networking: Attend events listed on the platform and network in person.

Finding tonight's events is easy:

• Go to the Events page and click on the "Today" tab.
• Use the date filter to select today's date.
• Look for events with "LIVE NOW" or "TONIGHT" badges.
• Browse the "Next Events" section on the homepage which shows upcoming performances.
• Follow your favorite artists to get notifications about their shows.

We strive to keep all event information accurate and current. However, events are listed by artists and clubs, and changes can happen. We recommend:

• Checking the event date and time before heading out.
• Looking for status badges like "LIVE," "SOON," or "CANCELLED."
• Contacting the venue directly to confirm details for important events.
• Reporting any incorrect information to us so we can update it.

Event organizers can update their events at any time, and changes are reflected immediately on the platform.

Currently, BengaMusic does not process ticket sales directly. Event listings show entry fees or ticket prices, but tickets must be purchased through the venue or their ticketing partners. We're working on integrating ticketing solutions in the future.

For now, you can:

• Contact the venue using the contact information on their profile.
• Check if the event has a ticket link in the description.
• Visit the venue in person to purchase tickets.

No, you can browse artists, clubs, and events without an account. However, creating a free fan account gives you additional benefits:

• Follow your favorite artists and get notified about their shows.
• Save events to your personal calendar.
• Leave reviews and comments.
• Create a personalized feed of recommendations.
• Bookmark clubs and venues you want to visit.

Each artist and club profile displays contact information, which may include:

• Phone number
• Email address
• WhatsApp link
• Social media links (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok)
• Website

Yes! Basic listings and profiles are completely free for everyone:

• Artists: Free profiles, free event listings, free song uploads.
• Clubs: Free venue profiles, free event listings.
• Producers & Creators: Free profiles to showcase your work.
• Fans: Free accounts to follow artists and save events.

We may introduce optional premium features in the future (like featured placements, promoted events, or analytics), but the core platform will always remain free for the community.

To reset your password:

1. Go to the login page.
2. Click on "Forgot Password?"
3. Enter the email address associated with your account.
4. Check your email for a password reset link (check spam folder if not received).
5. Click the link and create a new password.

To delete your account:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Go to Account Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account."
4. Confirm your decision.

Please note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your profile, events, and all associated data will be removed. If you're an artist with upcoming events, we recommend canceling or transferring those events before deleting.
